Yet, these same outlets were conspicuously silent last year when President Biden extended a warm fist-bump to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), the very figure the CIA concluded ordered Khashoggi's killing. continues to sell billions in arms to Saudi Arabia, ensuring stability for dictatorships while feigning democratic concern. It appears outrage over murdered journalists is a selective affair, reserved for when it scores political points against a domestic rival, not when it inconveniences profitable foreign policy.
