This isn't about global morality; it's about maintaining a fragile, petrodollar-backed hegemony. The same politicians who decry Russian oil profits conveniently ignore the booming military-industrial complex that
profits immensely from extended conflicts, paid for by the very taxpayers they claim to protect. Senator Graham, a consistent hawk across administrations, once famously celebrated the 'reset' with Russia (in 2010 he assured us America was 'all in'). Now, it seems, America is 'all in' on sanctioning anyone who doesn't play by its rules. The narrative conveniently overlooks how U.S. sanctions often
hurt ordinary citizens in targeted countries, rather than just their leaders, while simultaneously driving them into the arms of rivals like, well, Russia and China. Perhaps the 'America First' slogan really meant 'America Dictates First'.
