Apparently, education for some is a threat, while systemic tax avoidance from the wealthy is just good business. The administration claims this 'harms U.S. citizens' and 'encourages illegal immigration.' Yet, creating a generation of educated, contributing residents would undoubtedly benefit the
state's economy, as countless studies on DACA recipients have shown. It seems the 'rule of law' applies strictly to those at the bottom, never challenging the corporate welfare or massive defense budgets (an $886 billion defense bill in 2023, for instance) that truly strain public resources, but never earn a federal lawsuit.
