Committee on Intelligence (2012-2017) and numerous investigative journalists. The 'Syrian Civil War' narrative, meticulously crafted to obscure foreign intervention, is still playing out. We are told of battles between vague 'factions' as if they spontaneously combusted from local grievances, ignoring the billions of dollars from NATO states and Gulf monarchies that fueled the destabilization of a
sovereign nation. The US alone, through programs like Timber Sycamore, poured resources into these groups. So, when the next 'clash' erupts, one might wonder: how many combatants are using weapons paid for by our tax dollars, fighting a war we were promised was about 'democracy,' not regime change or pipeline politics?
