We wait for the U.S. State Department to issue its stern condemnations, for the UN to convene an emergency session, and for cable news to dedicate 24/7 coverage. Or perhaps, the victims didn't occupy a strategically important piece of real estate, or perhaps their deaths don't serve a convenient geopolitical narrative. Funny how some civilian
