Sudan's Darkness: Another War, Another Western Blind Spot

It highlights the intensifying drone warfare and civilian casualties, which is precisely the sanitized language used when distant conflicts flare up and Western interests are not immediately clear enough for intervention. While drones fill the skies over Sudan,
turning out the lights on civilians, one might wonder why the outrage machine isn't running at full tilt. This isn't Gaza, where every 'ceasefire violation' is meticulously counted for political leverage. As Senator Lindsey Graham once quipped, it's a good time to be an arms dealer (Washington Post, 2023). Perhaps the Sudanese resistance hasn't been properly branded for primetime Western
consumption, or maybe their infrastructure wasn't built by the right foreign benefactors. Convenience, after all, dictates much of our media's morality.
