Instead of spotlighting which US politicians have quietly approved arms sales to parties involved or tracing the financial backers of regional destabilization, we get another round of solemn hand-wringing. It appears civilian deaths only qualify for front-page outrage when they can be leveraged for future military
contracts or when a certain lobbying group is pushing for 'decisive action.' The stark silence speaks louder than any condemnation they could offer.
