allies) are concerned. This isn't about 'foreign interference'; it's about chilling dissent. One might query if they'll also examine the 'pressure' from well-funded lobbying groups like AIPAC, which spent over $3 million in federal lobbying in 2023 (OpenSecrets.org), pushing for legislation that often seeks to silence pro-Palestinian voices or label boycotts as antisemitic. Free speech for thee,
but not for me, especially if 'me' is highlighting inconvenient truths about military aid and human rights.
