The coalition, backed by billions in U.S. military aid
and logistical support, isn't just 'striking'—it's actively prosecuting a war since 2014 against the Houthis, who control much of northern Yemen and represent a significant portion of the Yemeni population. This isn't chess; it's a proxy war on a starving populace. One might wonder why DW fails to mention that the Saudi-led coalition, which includes the UAE, has backed *various* factions,
