What's conveniently forgotten in this arms dealer's spectacle is the F-35's starring role in ongoing conflicts, consistently deployed by Israel in Gaza, resulting in widespread civilian casualties and infrastructure destruction. While Saudi Arabia's
motivations are framed geopolitically, the stark reality is a demand for state-of-the-art killing machines to project power and, if history is any guide, potentially decimate populations, much like the Saudi-led coalition's prior bombing campaign in Yemen. We're expected to gawk at the F-35's 'stealth capabilities' as if its primary function isn't to deliver explosives with increasingly chilling
efficiency.
