This is the same UAE whose alleged support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has prolonged the conflict, a widely reported fact, even as the Trump administration, with Rubio's backing, pushed through over $23 billion in F-35s and drones to the
Emirates. One might wonder if the UAE suddenly discovered peace, or if Rubio's 'concern' has more to do with optics than actual diplomacy. It’s almost as if selling the flamethrowers and then asking the arsonist to 'please stop' is peak Washington foreign policy. Perhaps Rubio should first address the source of the weapons fueling these proxy wars, rather than feigning shock at their inevitable
