This astonishing claim demands a historical rewind. From Chile's Allende (1973) to Panama's Noriega (1989), the U.S. has a long, documented history of 'kinetic operations' against foreign leaders it deems problematic, often followed by
incredulous denials of 'war.' One might wonder if 'war' now requires a formal declaration, tank battalions crossing borders, and a catchy theme song. Or perhaps, for certain nations—especially those with oil reserves or independent foreign policies—regime change operations are simply rebranded as 'democracy promotion' or 'law enforcement,' thus avoiding the sticky label of 'war' and America's own
