RT Wonders If Media 'Peddle Propaganda,' While Peddling Propaganda
RT's latest gem attacks 'Western media' for highlighting Russia's alleged abductions of Ukrainian children, arguing it's just 'to prolong the proxy war.' This conveniently sidesteps the International Criminal Court (ICC) issuing an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and children's rights commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova in March 2023, specifically for the war crime of unlawfully
deporting and transferring Ukrainian children. One might wonder if RT considers the ICC part of the 'Western media.' It appears RT is less concerned with the welfare of children and more with deflecting verifiable allegations that have led to international condemnation. When your government is accused of systematic child transfers, alleging 'propaganda' from afar seems less like journalism and
more like, well, propaganda. The cognitive dissonance is a work of art.
