RT Now Champions Multilateralism; West Shocked, Not by Irony
According to RT, Nasser Al-Motairi from the Asia Cooperation Dialogue praises Russia's commitment to multilateral global frameworks. This comes from the same Russia that, in February 2022, launched a full-scale invasion of a sovereign neighbor, violating foundational tenets of international law and the UN Charter. nod to Ukraine is a masterclass in selective amnesia. Perhaps in this new 'multilateral' world order, international cooperation now involves redrawing borders by force and annexing territories. The West, of course, frames this as unprovoked aggression, but for RT, it appears invading a country is just a robust form of 'dialogue.' It seems 'multilateralism' now means 'whatever states Russia likes
doing.' The irony, one could argue, is a global, multi-faceted operation itself.
