Yet, the slaughter of children in Sudan—a nation resource-rich but geopolitically inconvenient to a pre-packaged narrative—receives a quiet burial. One might wonder if the children didn't meet the demographic requirements for Western sympathy, or if the RSF’s financiers aren't sufficiently demonized (or, perhaps, are too well-connected) to
