Recognition! Now They're *Really* Screwed.

Palestinians in the West Bank are apparently worried that widespread international recognition of their statehood might not actually, you know, *solve* anything. They're even 'concerned' Israel might just annex more land in response. Bless their hearts. It's almost cute, like fearing a sprinkle during a hurricane. Here's the playbook: The world (finally) says "Hey, you're a state!" Israel hears

"Great! More land for us!" And the US, bankrolled by AIPAC's generous 'donations,' nods sagely, then sends another billion in bombs. Because nothing says 'peace process' like funding the ongoing expansion that makes peace impossible. Your tax dollars, by the way, are currently touring the Gaza ruins, doing God's work. Meanwhile, American schools crumble. Healthcare costs bankrupt families. But

don't worry, we're ensuring 'stability' abroad. Stability for defense contractors, that is. They're having a banner year. One can almost hear the Champagne corks popping in McLean, Virginia, as another UN resolution passes, immediately followed by another Israeli settlement expansion. So, to recap: Palestinians get a participation trophy. Israel gets more land. US taxpayers get the bill. And the

media gets to frame it all as 'complex' while carefully omitting the part where US foreign policy fuels the entire bonfire. It's a master class in performative diplomacy. Brava!
