One might wonder if Poland's sudden re-evaluation of 'defensive capabilities' has anything to do with the continuous, un-interrogated flow of billions in military aid—much of it from the US—that fuels the regional proxy games. When will the 'deterrence' rhetoric simply be called 'escalation'?
