The alacrity with which US forces are mobilized to quell American citizens stands in stark contrast to the administration's 'deep concern' over the daily bombardment
of refugee camps and hospitals abroad. One might wonder if the White House's military response protocols are color-coded: swift suppression for internal dissent, and 'thoughts and prayers' (plus weapons) for populations facing an externally-funded military assault. The US has approved weapon packages, including 2,000-pound bombs, to Israel without congressional review, while simultaneously
deploying troops to manage its own citizenry. Priorities, indeed.
