The same outlets that decry political exploitation stateside often frame teenage victims of foreign policy as 'casualties of war,' or worse, 'combatants' in a deeply asymmetric conflict.
Funny how 'vulnerability' is a spotlight reserved for domestic political convenience, conspicuously absent when explaining why a child might be 'enmeshed' in the rubble and siege of Gaza.
