NY Times Columnist 'Counts Himself Out' of Epstein Scandal, Then Counts Himself In
David Brooks, a New York Times columnist, penned an article last month declaring his disdain for Epstein's associates and the culture of complicity. Now, an inconvenient truth has surfaced: a newly released photo places Brooks squarely in Epstein's orbit, smiling at a private dinner. The Times claims he had 'no contact before or after this single attendance,' conveniently sidestepping the
uncomfortable fact that their columnist was, indeed, at a 'widely-attended dinner' with a self-confessed child sex trafficker. It appears the moral high ground is easily vacated when public records, in this case, photographs, contradict carefully crafted narratives. One might wonder if the Gray Lady's 'vigilance' applies equally to its own staff caught performing moral gymnastics. Or perhaps, like
many in the 'elite' circle, their outrage only manifests when it's politically expedient or when photographic evidence becomes undeniable. What a marvelous coincidence that his anti-Epstein stance emerged just before he was publicly implicated.
