administration initially supported. The cost of these 'bets' isn't just money; it's millions of lives and regional destabilization. Instead of critiquing Washington's relentless pursuit of other nations' resources under the guise of 'democracy,' Newsweek normalizes it. How many times does the US have to fail—or succeed devastatingly—at regime change before it stops being a speculative venture for
