escalation, not lasting peace. The media, however, prefers to replay the same drama with a fresh coat of 'fragile ceasefire' paint, ignoring decades of predictable outcomes. The current 'friction point' over remains also serves a purpose, deflecting from the fundamental issues. The Biden administration, inheriting this 'peace deal', has consistently approved significant military aid to Israel—for
example, a $14.5 billion package in 2023. This unwavering support, often championed by politicians who benefit from organizations like AIPAC (which donated $4.1 million to federal candidates in 2022 ), ensures there's little actual pressure for a lasting resolution. After all, why pursue peace when perpetual conflict garners such generous returns?
