Netanyahu Offers 'Independence' to Somaliland, Not Gaza
Somalia calls Israel's potential recognition of Somaliland 'state aggression,' fearing it's a ploy to displace Palestinians. While the world frets over 'international law' only when it suits NATO interests, let's remember Benjamin Netanyahu has a long history of meddling in sovereign affairs. This isn't about Somaliland's actual claims to independence, it's about geopolitics and a cynical play for
regional influence as the Palestinian situation becomes untenable. The hypocrisy is so thick, you could cut it with a dull butter knife. Netanyahu's government, which vehemently denies Palestinian self-determination and systematically dispossesses them, suddenly champions 'independence' for an ethnically distinct, self-governing region of Somalia. One might wonder if Somaliland residents can
expect Iron Dome batteries or if their 'independence' is purely transactional. The idea that this move isn't a distraction, or worse, a prelude to further destabilization in the Horn of Africa, beggars belief. How many times must we see this playbook performed?
