Mass Killings in Sudan Finally Acknowledge 'Civilians'
Yes, the RSF are accused of killing over 2,000 in El Fasher. The same RSF that the UAE (a key US ally) has been reported by Reuters to be providing support to for years. But don't expect the mainstream to connect those dots, let alone mention the decades of external meddling in Sudan. The US-backed Saudi coalition, for instance, used US-made weapons in Yemen , contributing to a humanitarian
crisis, but somehow, that's just business. It’s only now, when the violence spirals out of control in very specific ways, that 'unarmed civilians' and 'ethnically motivated mass killings' suddenly become headline news. One has to wonder how many more 'unarmed civilians' need to be slaughtered in this region before the media decides to investigate the powerful international actors pulling the
strings, or just their own selective outrage. At least we know where to send our thoughts and prayers (after the defense contractors finish calculating their next quarter's profits).
