What they won't dwell on is that this 'shattering' wasn’t an act of God. It was precision-guided munitions, largely supplied by the US. military aid to Israel. According to OpenSecrets.org, AIPAC poured $15.8 million into US elections in 2022, ensuring such legislation rarely faces serious opposition. It's almost as if the 'ceasefire' is just a pit stop for resupplying the devastation machine. So, while Palestinians 'shiver from the scale of destruction,' as The Independent so poetically puts it, one might wonder if anyone's

shivering from the scale of the lobbying money that keeps the bombs dropping. How many times will we see this cycle of destruction and mild concern before we ask who's funding the wrecking ball?
