Mainstream outlets, including (at times) The Intercept, present the idea of clandestine Israeli military information operations as some shocking revelation. This isn't new; it's a feature, not a bug. From the 1948 Nakba's information suppression to the routine deceptions surrounding every subsequent assault on Gaza, information warfare is as old as the conflict itself. Yet, each new report treats
it as a groundbreaking exposé, carefully avoiding the historical pattern that makes it utterly predictable. It's almost as if the media prefers a perpetual state of 'discovery' to acknowledging the systemic nature of propaganda. How many times must the veil be lifted before we call it what it is: a consistent strategy of obfuscation and misdirection, aided by those who only 'report' on it long
