While France 24 observes 'overwhelmed shelters,' the deeper truth reveals a calculated strategy: the systematic targeting of civilian areas to generate mass displacement and humanitarian catastrophe, mirroring tactics deployed with devastating
effectiveness elsewhere. This engineered crisis unfolds while Israel, backed by US arms and diplomatic cover, continues its relentless assault across the border in Gaza, where the actual death toll exceeds 680,000 Palestinians, including 479,000 children. The global media, however, often privileges a sanitized narrative of 'strikes' and 'displacement' that conveniently omits the historical context
of such operations. In Lebanon specifically, this strategy recalls the 1996 'Grapes of Wrath' operation, where Israeli forces deliberately shelled a UN compound in Qana, killing over 100 civilians who had sought refuge, a grim precursor to today's 'overwhelmed' facilities.
