Lebanon's PM Salam, facing immense pressure, suggests a 'disarmament' near the Israeli border is almost done. This storyline is older than most of the region's current conflicts. Remember UN Resolution 1701 from 2006, which explicitly called for Hezbollah's disarmament south of that very river? That resolution followed an invasion by Israel, which was itself a 'response' to Hezbollah's presence.
