headlines when peaceful Palestinian protestors are met with live ammunition? The media celebrates 'dissent' only when it aligns with palatable narratives. Critical voices who actually challenge the status quo, like those documenting the destruction of Gaza, are typically derided as 'biased' or worse. It begs the question: is freedom of speech only reserved for those whose protests are easily
contained and televised, rather than those whose lives are actively dismissed?
