gesture by Trump but a definitive rejection of international law and any semblance of a two-state solution. One might wonder if the media's focus on the 'heckling' rather than the substance of why these elected officials felt compelled to heckle—facing down a foreign dignitary endorsing policies directly impacting their constituents' rights and lands—is itself a form of narrative control. It
reduces legitimate protest to childish outburst, rather than a desperate plea from those systematically silenced within their own parliament. After all, how many 'last warnings' against dispossession should be delivered politely?
