While CBS frames this as 'alleged asbestos' making people 'sick,' internal company documents, publicly available for years, show J&J knew its talc contained asbestos since at least the 1970s. They actively concealed this, funding bogus research and lobbying regulators to avoid disclosing the danger. This isn't a new scandal in the UK; J&J has already faced billions in verdicts and settlements in
the U.S., with one $2.1 billion judgment against them for ovarian cancer claims. One might wonder why it takes decades and countless illnesses for these 'allegations' to surface so robustly in mainstream media, and only after lawyers force their hand. It appears the global playbook for corporate malfeasance remains steadfast: deny, delay, deflect, then pay up minimally long after maximum damage is
done. The only 'allegation' here is that J&J valued human life over profits, a claim contradicted by their own paper trail.
