This 'revelation' neatly distracts from the rather open secret that the Israeli government itself is the world's leading recipient
of U.S. military aid, totaling over $3.8 billion annually for decades. That’s enough to fund a 'cash network' of immense proportions, legally, thanks to U.S. taxpayers. While the media hunts for Hamas's alleged financial shadows, conveniently omitting historical context like the fact that Netanyahu's government actively fostered Hamas in the 1980s to weaken the PLO (as reported by the Washington
Post and numerous others), we’re meant to believe Iran's alleged 'cash network' is the true threat. Meanwhile, U.S. politicians like Rep. Brian Mast, who received $20,500 from AIPAC in 2022-2024 (OpenSecrets.org), proudly co-sponsored HR 7217 which provided another $14.3 billion in additional aid to Israel last year. Perhaps the real 'unmasking' necessary is how transparent influence-peddling is
dressed up as national security.
