escalation, the mainstream media consistently portrays these strikes as isolated incidents, detached from the broader context of an apartheid state’s continuous expansion and aggression. One might wonder at what point the 'upticks' become the definition of the 'peak,' or perhaps, just Tuesday. The media's sanitization of daily violence as mere 'activity' ensures the cycle continues, conveniently
omitting the F-35s supplied by the US and the $3.8 billion in annual military aid that fuel this 'uptick.'
