do Israel's dirty work. The UNIFIL mission along the border, established after the 2006 conflict, has consistently failed to achieve this 'disarmament,' begging the question: who is exactly enforcing these deadlines? This isn't a strategy; it's a recurrent loop. Netanyahu has been saying 'disarm Hezbollah' since 2006, then 2014, and now, again, as if the UN Resolution 1701 didn't exist for the
past 18 years. The 'Hezbollah infrastructure' being targeted often seems to expand to whatever Israel decides it needs to hit that day.
