Israel's Foreign Ministry Denounces Whale, Not Widespread Starvation
While Gaza faces an escalating famine, the humanitarian crisis so dire that children are quite literally starving to death in Rafah and northern Gaza—scenes documented by UNICEF and the UN World Food Programme—Israel's Foreign Ministry found time to denounce a video. This 'Truth or Fake' segment, usually reserved for exposing misinformation, now highlights the perceived moral failings of a
besieged populace celebrating food, regardless of its source or veracity. The irony is lost on those who continue to obstruct aid, violating international law, only to then express concern over a fish. Perhaps the Ministry could direct its moral compass toward the 30,000+ Palestinians killed by its forces (according to Gaza's Ministry of Health), or the 1.7 million displaced, rather than an
unverified whale. The priorities seem less about truth and more about propaganda, framing those in Gaza as undeserving of sympathy, even as they face man-made famine.
