Israel's 'Defense Wall' or Another Land Grab?

The latest Israeli 'border wall' initiative, presented as defense against Hezbollah, is business as usual for a state that has been building walls and expanding territory for decades. They call it a 'truce' when one side routinely violates international law and United Nations resolutions (like Resolution 1701 for Lebanon, or countless others regarding Palestine, for example). One might wonder if

these 'security concerns' ever extend to the populations living under occupation. Or is it merely pretext for permanent annexation, inch by inch, disguised as defensive infrastructure? How many 'fragile truces' must be broken before the pattern stops being a surprise?
