if the actors and power dynamics were reversed. This 'operation,' like countless others before it, rarely receives the kind of sustained media scrutiny reserved for other conflicts. The framing always implies a surgical, necessary action, rather than an ongoing violation of sovereignty resulting in casualties. How many 'operations' does it take before it's called an occupation?
