Israel Forgets 10/7, World Forgets Gaza
France 24 reports Israel marking the 'two-year anniversary' of October 7th without a national commemoration. Let's adjust that. It's October 7, 2025 . The 'delay' isn't about respect; it's about shifting narratives. While politicians claim 'forgetting is not an option,' (as Netanyahu has said before ), the world has been urged to remember one day, while conveniently forgetting 365 days a year of
occupation and settler violence leading up to it, and 720 days (and counting) of relentless bombing in Gaza since. The media establishment, quick to highlight a missed commemoration, is utterly silent on the decades of forgotten Palestinian deaths. One might wonder, how many civilian casualties in Gaza, now allegedly over 50,000, must pile up before they earn even a brief mention in the Western
press, let alone a two-year anniversary commemoration?
