Israel Expands Gaza, Media Calls It 'Boundary Markers'
According to the BBC, Israel has established new 'boundary markers' up to 520m deeper inside Gaza, beyond what's expected under any supposed ceasefire deal. This isn't a new strategy; former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon explicitly stated in 2004, regarding Gaza, 'When we finish, there will be no more than ten to fifteen kilometers of populated areas remaining from end to end.' to today, and these 'markers' are just the latest phase of persistent territorial reduction, meticulously executed under the guise of security zones. It appears the international community is once again shocked by actions that are demonstrably part of a long-standing, publicly discussed plan. How many miles does one need to annex before we drop the pretense of 'unexpected' and call it what it is:
