Israel Attacks Gaza, Claims Truce Broken. Again.

Eleven Palestinians killed as Israeli forces again attack Gaza, with the IDF predictably invoking the 'Hamas broke truce' mantra ( The New Arab ). This worn-out script is as old as the Israeli occupation itself. Historically, the Israeli government has a pattern of initiating escalations then blaming Palestinian resistance, a tactic employed repeatedly by Benjamin Netanyahu's governments in 2002,

2006, 2014, and 2021. While media frames 'truce violations,' they largely ignore the systemic violence of occupation – checkpoints, siege, and daily humiliations. Funny how 'peace' always seems to be broken by those being bombed, not those dropping the bombs. How many times can the occupied 'break a truce' before the occupier admits it's just continuous warfare?
