According to Al-Monitor, the humanitarian crisis in Rafah faces yet another hurdle: Israel alleges Hamas is dragging its feet on returning the remains of hostages. One might wonder if Israel noticed that its sustained, devastating military operation in Gaza, which has destroyed infrastructure and resulted in over 37,000 Palestinian deaths and widespread famine , has, itself, created a rather
significant 'delay' in, well, everything. The priorities seem... selective. This convenient finger-pointing conveniently sidesteps the ongoing assault on Rafah that began in early May 2024, forcibly displacing hundreds of thousands of civilians yet again.
