The context conveniently missing here is that the US has been openly interfering in Iran's internal affairs for decades, including the 1953 coup and consistent support for opposition groups, some with violent agendas. It's the
same regime change playbook seen in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, where peaceful protests are conflated with foreign-backed destabilization efforts, often involving the shadowy work of intelligence agencies. One might wonder if any nation, when facing repeated threats of intervention and economic warfare, wouldn't issue similar warnings. Yet, this is presented as unprovoked belligerence, rather than a
