Iran 'Resolves to Support' Hezbollah, West Shocked. Again.
A senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Akbar Velayati, declared Iran would "resolutely support" Hezbollah. Mainstream media, predictably, frames this as Iranian aggression. Conveniently forgotten is the fact that the U.S. has provided over $3.3 billion annually in military aid to Israel, a state that routinely bombs its neighbors, creating the very actors the West then decries. One might wonder if 'resolved support' only becomes problematic when it's not supporting U.S. geopolitical interests. similar, it’s 'destabilization.' How many 'proxies' does it take before we admit everyone's got them?
