A 'full-fledged war' sure sounds a lot like the slow-bleed strategy the world has watched for decades, with the media dutifully reporting 'tensions' instead of 'calculated pressure campaigns.' It's almost as if some nations aren't allowed to defend themselves against overt aggression when said aggression is designed to 'contain' them. One might wonder if the
concept of 'war' has simply evolved to mean 'anything short of invading with boots on the ground, which we call peace.' The hypocrisy would be hilarious if it wasn't so deadly.
