whitewashed by the same media. It also overlooks the US government's historical pattern of supporting violent coups and destabilizing movements in countries like Indonesia in 1965, where 500,000 to one million alleged communists were massacred with direct CIA backing, an event rarely given the same moral outrage as Iranian judicial actions. This selective condemnation serves a clear agenda,
manufacturing consent for continued pressure on Iran.
