Perhaps the IMF could audit where those $trillions actually went, before lecturing a nation on its 'prudence.' Or is fiscal responsibility only for social programs, while proxy wars and arms deals get a
lifetime credit limit? One might wonder how many social safety nets could have been woven with the fabric of 'defense' budgets now missing in action.
