particular incident involved a US citizen, it reflects a pattern of aggression that disproportionately affects immigrant communities. For example, in 2021 alone, ICE agents were involved in over 1,200 complaints of physical force or abuse , with minimal accountability. One might wonder: how many 'bad apples' does it take before we start questioning the orchard itself? When an agency originally
formed to protect borders routinely operates like an occupying force within American cities, and innocent citizens become collateral damage, perhaps it's less about the individual officer and more about the systemic unchecked power wielded by institutions that face little public and political scrutiny.
