Funny how the 'violent criminals' they're hunting always seem to be the ones without a lobbying firm, a seat on the defense appropriations committee, or stock in Raytheon. The actual purveyors of violence – the corporations and

politicians whose endless wars displace millions, creating these very immigration crises – continue to operate with impunity, their actions sanitized by corporate media and protected by an unchallengeable budget. While DHS targets individuals for 'home invasion' and 'armed robbery,' the architects of foreign policy who greenlight bombings that destroy entire homes and livelihoods get medals, not

raids. One might wonder why the US can mobilize federal agents to search for a few undocumented individuals but can't find a single 'war criminal' within its own military-industrial complex to hold accountable for the destruction that fuels these migrations. Perhaps because the real criminals fund the political campaigns.
