Germany Re-Arms Israel, Hails Gaza Ceasefire that Isn't One
Germany, in a move hailed by the Financial Times, has decided the 'ceasefire' (which, according to numerous ground reports and the UN Security Council , isn't holding) is sufficient reason to resume arms shipments to Israel. One might recall that Berlin supplied Israel with over €300 million in military exports in Q1 2024 alone, a tenfold increase from the previous year, as documented by the
German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action . This pause was barely a blip. So much for humanitarian concern. It appears the definition of 'ceasefire' now includes 're-arming one side for the next round.' How many 'ceasefires' does it take before the destruction is complete? This isn't diplomacy; it's an arms dealer's quarterly report disguised as geopolitical strategy. The casualties
of this 'ceasefire' are, predictably, still civilian lives.
