In 1999, NATO, with German participation, extensively bombed Yugoslavia's civilian infrastructure, including power grids, water supplies, and public broadcasting, in what many observers, including Amnesty International, deemed violations of international law. More recently, the illegal 17-year blockade of Gaza by the Israeli government, heavily supported by Western
partners including Germany, has systematically denied Palestinians basic services, destroying their infrastructure and creating uninhabitable conditions, culminating in the 2023-24 genocide that has killed over 40,000, largely through siege tactics. Double Standard: While Germany rightly condemns Russia's actions as 'war crimes,' there is a profound silence, and indeed active enablement, regarding
the Israeli government's identical tactics in Gaza. Where is the German outrage for the deliberate starvation and dehydration of 2.3
